Montrax Savdo
The problem
Small retail shops in Uzbekistan still keep their books in notebooks or Excel. Stock levels are fuzzy, customer debts get forgotten, and compiling a monthly report takes a full day. Off-the-shelf CRMs are either too expensive or don't match local trade habits — the debt ledger, mixed cash-and-credit payments.
The solution
Montrax Savdo is a system built from scratch for local retail. It drops the bloat of big CRMs and makes the things a seller touches every day fast and simple:
- Product catalog — stock tracking with low-stock alerts
- Sales screen — a sale in a few clicks, mixed payment (cash + credit)
- Customer debt ledger — who owes what, since when, with full history
- Reports — daily/monthly sales, Excel export
- Soft-delete — accidentally removed records can be restored
Design decisions
This is where having the designer and the developer in one head paid off: the interface isn't a "pretty admin template" — it's drawn around how a real seller actually moves.
- Big buttons, big numbers — it's used in a hurry, on a shop counter; delicate UI doesn't survive there
- Dark theme — a screen that stays on until late evening shouldn't tire the eyes
- One screen — one task — the seller never has to wonder "where am I?"
Outcome
The system shipped to production in July 2026 and is used in live trade. Debt tracking moved from the notebook into the system — one search now pulls up a customer's entire history.
